Explosion-proof dust collector
Structural composition
The explosion-proof dust collector is mainly composed of the following parts:
• Shell:
Usually made of solid metal materials, such as carbon steel or stainless steel, with sufficient strength and sealing to withstand internal pressure and prevent dust leakage. The shell is equipped with inspection doors, air inlets and outlets, etc.
Filtration system:
• Filter bags or filter cartridges:
They are the core components for filtering dust. The appropriate material and filtration accuracy are selected according to different working conditions and dust characteristics. Common filter materials include anti-static filter materials, flame-retardant filter materials, etc.
• Cleaning device:
Including pulse blowing, mechanical vibration and other methods, used to remove dust accumulation on filter bags or filter cartridges to maintain filtering performance. The cleaning device is usually composed of pulse valves, air bags, blowing pipes, etc.
Explosion-proof device:
• Explosion-relief device:
Such as explosion-relief door, explosion-relief sheet, etc., when an explosion occurs inside the dust collector, it can quickly release pressure to prevent equipment damage and casualties.
• Explosion-proof device:
Such as explosion-proof valve, etc., to prevent the spread of explosion flames and pressure waves, and limit the explosion to a certain range.
• Anti-static device:
including grounding device, conductive filter material, etc., to prevent static electricity accumulation from causing sparks.
• Fan system:
provides airflow power to filter dust-containing gas through the dust collector. Fans usually use explosion-proof motors to ensure safe operation.
• Control system:
monitors and controls the operation of the dust collector, including fan start and stop, dust cleaning cycle, temperature and pressure monitoring, etc. The control system has a fault alarm function to ensure safe and reliable operation of the equipment.
Working principle
The working principle of the explosion-proof dust collector is similar to that of the ordinary dust collector, but special measures are taken in terms of explosion prevention. The dust-containing gas enters the dust collector from the air inlet and is first evenly distributed to each filter unit through the guide plate. The dust is intercepted by the filter bag or filter cartridge, and the purified gas is discharged through the air outlet. As the filtration process proceeds, the dust accumulation on the filter bag or filter cartridge gradually increases, and the resistance increases. When the resistance reaches the set value, the dust cleaning device starts, and the dust accumulation is removed by pulse blowing or mechanical vibration, and the filtration performance of the filter bag or filter cartridge is restored.
In terms of explosion prevention, when an explosion occurs inside the dust collector, the explosion relief device opens quickly to release the pressure; the flameproof device prevents the spread of the explosion flame and pressure wave; the anti-static device prevents the accumulation of static electricity from causing sparks. At the same time, the control system will promptly send out an alarm signal to stop the equipment from running to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
