Structural composition:

• Drum part:

It is composed of three concentric cylinders of different diameters nested and combined. The inner cylinder, middle cylinder and outer cylinder are reasonably combined according to certain parameters, and each plays a different role. The inner cylinder performs preliminary heat exchange and drying, the middle cylinder further enhances the drying effect, and the outer cylinder plays the role of heat preservation and auxiliary drying.

• Transmission device:

including motor, reducer, support wheel, wheel belt, etc. The motor provides power, drives the support wheel to rotate through the reducer, and the friction between the support wheel and the wheel belt causes the cylinder to rotate, ensuring that the material continues to roll and move in the cylinder.

• Feeding device:

responsible for conveying the sand and gravel to be dried into the dryer, and it is necessary to ensure the stability and uniformity of the feed to ensure the drying effect.

• Discharging device:

 used to discharge the dried sand and gravel, with good sealing to prevent hot gas leakage and dust overflow.

• Heat source system:

provides heat for the drying process. Common heat sources include coal, natural gas, biomass particles, etc., which can be selected according to actual conditions.

• Lifting plate device:

Lifting plates with different angles and spacings are provided in the cylinder, so that the sand and gravel can be evenly dispersed and turned in the cylinder, fully contact with the hot air flow, and improve the heat exchange efficiency.

• Dust removal system:

Collect and process the dust generated during the drying process to reduce pollution to the environment.

• Working principle:

The wet sand and gravel enter the inner cylinder from the feeding device, and are continuously lifted and scattered by the lifting plate in the inner cylinder, and undergo preliminary heat exchange with the hot air flow from the heat source system to achieve downstream drying and initially remove most of the moisture. Then the sand and gravel enter the middle cylinder for countercurrent drying, and the material is repeatedly lifted in the middle cylinder to extend the drying time. Finally, the sand and gravel fall into the outer cylinder, and are further dried in the outer cylinder before being discharged from the discharging device.
