Structural composition:

• Outer shell:

 As the external protective structure of the dust collector, it is usually made of steel plate and is treated with rust prevention to support and protect the internal components.

• Fan:

 It is a key component that provides airflow power. Generally, a centrifugal fan is used. It has the characteristics of large air volume and high air pressure. It can suck dust-containing gas into the dust collector and discharge the purified gas. Some fans will also take noise reduction measures to reduce operating noise.

• Filter assembly:

 It is mainly composed of filter bags or filter cartridges and is the core part of dust filtration. When dust-containing gas passes through the filter bag or filter cartridge, the dust is blocked on its surface or inside, and the purified gas passes through the filter material and is discharged. The material of the filter bag is diverse, and the common ones are polyester needle felt, glass fiber, etc., which can be selected according to different working conditions.

• Dust collection device:

It is used to collect the filtered dust. For small single-unit dust collectors, it may be a dust collection drawer or ash hopper; for equipment with large processing capacity, it may be equipped with auxiliary ash unloading devices such as screw conveyors and ash unloading valves.

• Cleaning device:

It includes cleaning mechanism and control device. When the dust on the surface of the filter bag or filter cartridge accumulates to a certain extent, the cleaning device will start, and the dust will be removed by mechanical vibration, pulse blowing, etc. to ensure the normal operation of the dust collector. Common cleaning methods include timed cleaning and constant pressure cleaning.

• Circuit device:

used to control the operation of the dust collector, including the start and stop of the fan, the timing control of the cleaning device, etc. Some are also equipped with sensors to monitor the operating status of the equipment in real time.

• Working principle:

Under the action of the fan, the dust-containing gas enters the interior of the equipment from the air inlet of the dust collector. First, large particles of dust are directly settled into the dust collection device due to gravity and inertial collision; finer dust is retained by the filter bag or filter cartridge. As the filtration process continues, the dust on the surface of the filter bag or filter cartridge continues to increase, causing the resistance of the equipment to increase. When the resistance reaches the set value, the cleaning device starts to remove the dust on the surface of the filter bag or filter cartridge and falls into the dust collection device, and the purified gas is discharged from the air outlet.
